Multan: Jahangir Khan Tareen emphasized that quality education is the key to change the future of our children and the destiny of our country. He highlighted that in Pakistan there are two classes, those who can provide their children with education from top private institutions and those whose children attend public schools which often lack even basic facilities. “We must bridge this gap. Once this disparity is eliminated, Pakistan can progress truly” he said.

He made these remarks while addressing ceremonies held at Government Boys High School, Khanewal and Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School, Mian Channu, on the occasion of inaugurating new Science and Computer Labs. He stated that the standard of public schools must be improved so that our children can compete in today’s world and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.

Ali Khan Tareen, in his address, said, “Spending in education gives me the greatest happiness because the future of our children is dependent on it. I urge all parents, especially of girls, to ensure that their children receive quality education.”

The events were also attended by Chief Executive Officer Education, Khanewal, Fayyaz Ahmed Sandhu, and Chief Executive Officer, Tareen Education Foundation, Akbar Khan.
