Jahangir Tareen’s Support Enables Free Eye Camp in Lodhran, Thousands Benefit Over the Years

A two-day Free Eye Camp was organized in Lodhran under the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) with the special support of Jahangir Khan Tareen. The initiative provided vital eye care services to local residents, where 787 patients were examined, 260 surgeries were performed, and 243 individuals received prescription glasses.

In his message, Jahangir Khan Tareen said that providing high-quality and completely free healthcare to the public remains a core mission of his welfare initiatives. “We will continue to expand this journey of service,” he added.

LPP CEO Dr. Abdul Saboor visited the camp, interacted with patients, and reviewed the facilities. He expressed gratitude to Jahangir Khan Tareen and Ali Khan Tareen for their continuous support, noting that LPP has so far organized 45 free eye camps, where over 74,000 patients have been examined and more than 11,000 surgeries have been performed.
He added that patients with complicated conditions are also referred to Sukkur for advanced treatment.

These eye camps serve whole community and specially the underprivileged segment of society.
