Jahangir Khan Tareen Says Seeing someone’s Eye Sight being restored Brings a Peace Beyond Words

Lodhran(29th April 2026): With the special support of Jahangir Khan Tareen, the Lodhran Pilot Project organized a free eye camp at 12 MPR Geelay Wal, Lodhran.

During the two-day free eye camp, 732 patients received free check-ups and medicines while more than 300 surgeries were successfully performed, restoring vision for many individuals and bringing new light into their lives.

Jahangir Khan Tareen visited the camp, inspected various wards and met patients undergoing treatment. Speaking to them, he said:

“The peace one feels upon seeing light return to someone’s eyes cannot be described in words. My constant effort has always been to ensure that our resources reach those who truly deserve them. If we can bring ease into even one person’s life, that is our greatest success.”

He further added that access to healthcare is a basic right of every human being, and the scope of such free medical camps will be expanded to help more deserving people.

Patients and their families appreciated the initiative, thanked Jahangir Khan Tareen, and described it as a ray of hope.

CEO of Lodhran Pilot Project, Dr. Abdul Saboor, briefed him and shared that across 46 eye camps held so far, 75,000 patients have received free check-ups, medicines, and eyeglasses, while 10,500 successful surgeries have also been carried out.
