Jahangir Khan Tareen has announced relief assistance of over PKR 20 million for the flood-affected people of Lodhran. He has directed his team to immediately begin on-ground relief operations in the affected areas.
In his statement, Jahangir Tareen said, “I will not leave our flood-affected brothers and sisters alone. Every possible effort will be made for their rehabilitation. Natural disasters demand national unity, and in this difficult time, we must all come together to support our fellow citizens.”
As part of the relief efforts, machinery will be dispatched to help communities strengthen embankments and control water flow. Essential food supplies and other necessities will also be distributed among the affected families.
The relief operation will be carried out in collaboration with the Lodhran district administration and Rescue 1122.
